We are
Global Mobile Alert

Global Mobile Alert (GMA) was founded by Demetrius Thompson after he was involved in two separate accidents involving drivers that were distracted using their smartphones. The drivers involved in the accidents were engaged in cellphone calls and distracted from driving safely, and failed to see Mr. Thompson who was a pedestrian at the time. While recovering from the second accident, Mr. Thompson and his technology developers at GMA developed the Driver Distraction Alert (DDA) technology that is helping GMA in leading the charge to save lives of vulnerable road users that could be injured due to distracted drivers.

Global Mobile Alerts (GMA) Driver Distraction Alert (DDA) application provides proactive, audio and visual alerts to warn drivers of approaching traffic lights, school zones and railroad crossings while users are engaged in use of their smartphones hands-free. GMA's Driver Distraction Alert (DDA) alerts drivers of upcoming common road distractions and helps drivers reduce distractions that could lead to accidents while engaged in use of their smartphones while driving. GMA's DDA helps to keep drivers alerted to constantly changing road conditions and helps to reduce and often eliminate distractions to drivers that can lead to unfortunate accidents. The DDA and its success in helping to reduce accidents, due to distracted drivers, is quickly becoming needed safety protection in every car on the road to help pedestrians and cyclists, as well as reducing or preventing injury or death for drivers involved in multi-vehicle accidents due to a distracted driver.

The Driver Distraction Alert app is available for Google Android and Apple/iOS smartphones, or alternatively, the app can be implemented into in-vehicle infotainment systems, including those powered by Global Mobile Alert operating system: available on Android Automotive and Apple iOS.
